INFO:
This is an unabridged recording of Japanese Tea Ceremony. There are many schools of tea that teach The Way of Tea, Chado or Chanoyu in Japanese. In this video I'm showing the ritual performed in accordance with Urasenke teaching. Gyakugatte Hakobi Koicha is the serving of thick tea when the guests are seated on the left side of the host. Some rooms are built in a way that forces this arrangement. Since I'm using an eletric ro I can't adjust the hight of the kama, and I think it becomes to high if I rest it on the kama shoulder. It is also hard with this type of kama to say what placement is correct. since it isn't a proper uba-guchi, nor does it have a proper lip that goes up. Known mistakes: - The temae should be done sotozumi Disclaimer: This is NOT an official movie by Urasenke and has been created independent of Urasenke.
